The Early Years Professional Learning Day is designed to support programs in delivering high-quality care to children, families, and communities. It provides educators with dedicated time for professional learning to enhance their skills, deepen their knowledge, and strengthen their practice.
The day is structured in two parts: educators will attend a half-day of community professional learning sessions in the morning based on their interests, followed by an afternoon spent back at their programmes engaging in team-specific professional learning with their colleagues.
Agenda for the Day
- 8:30 – 9:00 a.m: Continental Breakfast
- 9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m: Community Professional Learning Sessions
- 12:15 – 1:30 p.m: Lunch and Travel Back to Child Care Programmes (Tim Hortons gift cards will be provided)
- 1:30 – 4:30 p.m: Team-specific Professional Learning
