The Foundations of Early Learning Series has been designed to provide you with foundational knowledge on early learning and care so that you can offer the high quality learning opportunities that children and families need. This series will be broken down into different asynchronous (self-paced) parts that you can take separately. Ideally, you will take these parts sequentially starting with Part 1. 

In this offering, Foundations of Early Learning Part 2:

• Explore your view of children and yourselves
• Engage in observing children and how your description aligned with your view of children
• Explore information that helps us understand the complexities of children and the multiple things we must consider in order to hold a holistic view of children
• Consider how you might think with all the information presented and how it might guide your work forward
• Engage in reflective practice and discussions with colleagues who are also completing this professional learning opportunity.

We recommend that you register for Foundations of Early Learning-Part 3, once you have completed this offering. The Foundations of Early Learning-Part 3 offering is currently under construction, so please visit this site regularly to learn when it becomes available.
