The Four Seasons of Play - Summer Session

Type: In-Person Learning

Location: The Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex - 550 Belsyde Avenue, Fergus

Date: Saturday, June 12, 2027 - Time: 9:00 - 11:30 AM

Facilitator: Dr. Kimberly Squires

Join Dr. Kimberly Squires once each season to explore the possibilities of outdoor play throughout the year. Each workshop will combine current research, practical ideas, and hands-on experiences that invite educators to connect with nature, deepen their understanding of seasonal outdoor learning, and engage in play themselves. Together, we'll discover how the changing seasons offer rich opportunities for curiosity, creativity, risk-taking, and meaningful learning for children.

There will be 4 different sessions in this series, each focusing on the possibilities of outdoor play in a specific season: Fall, Winter, Spring and Winter.

Registration for all sessions in the series is NOT a requirement. You will need to register for each of the sessions you would like to attend.
