This is a time for leaders in the community to connect with each other, share stories from practice, reflect on their leadership roles and embrace questions that may be sparking.

Join us in some reflection as we discuss concepts presented in the book ‘Finding the Joyful Leader Within’ by Teresa Byington. If you have a copy of the book, please bring it along with you. There will also be extra copies for those who do not have one. Each month please try to read the chapters listed below before the network. If you do not get a chance to read them or do not have a copy of the book, please feel free to still join the conversation as we will discuss the concepts and relate them to our practice.

We will discuss some big ideas each month on the following chapters:

May 10th - Chapter 2: Reimagine Your Purpose

June 14th - Chapter 3: Radiate a Joyful Outlook 

July 12th - Chapter 4: Engage in Joyful Actions 

August 16th - Chapter 5: Create Caring Connections 

September 13th - Chapter 6: Use Reflection to Build Strengths 

*The network will run from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm so please feel free to bring your lunch along with you.

Participation is prioritized for child care and early years supervisors working in the Wellington service delivery area (City of Guelph and County of Wellington). Priority for participation at no cost will be given to supervisors who work in the following child care and early learning settings:

 Licensed child care (centre-based and home-based)

 Authorized Recreation programmes

 EarlyON Child & Family Centres
