Healthy Relationships & Boundaries

Type: Virtual

Location: Virtual

Date: Thursday, November 14 Time: 7:00 – 8:30 pm

Presented by: Julie Male, and Ardita Cummins, Mental Health Consultants in Child Care, CMHA

When children are connected, their feelings of safety and security are strengthened and they are more likely to experience success across environments and relationships. We hope all children will experience caring and trusting emotional connections that can enhance and protect their mental health.

Connection and healthy boundaries help children decrease the intensity of their emotional reactions, motivate positive behaviour, create feelings of closeness, build healthier social skills, decrease stress and strengthen their immune systems.

Join us to explore what healthy relationships look like between children and educators? Why this is important? And how boundaries impact children’s overall mental health.
