How to Have Sensitive Conversations with Parents and Caregivers

This training will discuss navigating the difficult conversations that educators face in the Early Childhood field with parents/caregivers about children’s needs. These conversations may include topics of mental health needs, sensory and eating challenges, communication, self-help skills, challenging behaviour, developmental and motor needs. During this discussion, those who attend will have access to the thoughts and resources of a Mental Health Consultant and Physical Therapist to gain a deeper perspective on these conversations.
