Do you have a favorite children's book? Would you like to share it with other educators in the community?

This month we invite everyone to bring a book that is meaningful to them to share with the group. We will gather together for an evening of storytelling and sharing of thoughts and ideas and reflect on our favorite stories using the protocol for examining children’s books.

We will invite you to reflect on your own thoughts, emotions and values in relation to your favorite children's book; to dig deeper into the text and the images to interpret valuable messages; and to imagine how the ideas of the book might be brought to life through curriculum making.
