We are excited to launch a new series that invites just that, time to be together in community as a community!

As How Does Learning Happen reminds us, “we must always think, feel, and act in ways that reflect the environment, the circumstances, and most importantly the children, families, and colleagues we have before us in every unique situation.” (HDLH, 2014, p.5) And so this series really is an opportunity to celebrate our common passion and values while honoring and celebrating the diversity and uniqueness of our practice!

This month we have been graciously invited to an open house at Community Resource Centre Child Care - J.D. Hogarth Public School being held from 6:30 – 8 pm on April 17. Registration is required.

Participation is prioritized for child care and early years educators working in the Wellington service delivery area (City of Guelph and County of Wellington). Priority for participation at no cost will be given to Programme and Non-Programme staff who work in the following child care and early learning settings:

Licensed child care (centre-based and home-based)

Authorized Recreation programmes

EarlyON Child & Family Centres

Professionals representing the following groups may be eligible for participation in professional learning if spaces are available:

Enhanced Support System partners

Registered Early Childhood Educators working in school board operated Full-Day Kindergarten
