This is an interactive workshop that will discuss the importance of early childhood development and the understanding that children develop in an individual and holistic way. It will also discuss ways of engaging in observation, documentation and monitoring with a developmental lens that recognizes the uniqueness of each child and their families.

This event is being delivered by an external organization from the County of Wellington and as such your name and email address may be provided to the third party for training purposes.

Participation is prioritized for child care and early years educators working in the Wellington service delivery area (City of Guelph and County of Wellington). Priority for participation at no cost will be given to Programme and Non-Programme staff who work in the following child care and early learning settings:

Licensed child care (centre-based and home-based)

Authorized Recreation programmes

EarlyON Child & Family Centres

Professionals representing the following groups may be eligible for participation in professional learning if spaces are available:

Enhanced Support System partners

Registered Early Childhood Educators working in school board operated Full-Day Kindergarten
