Developing an Individual Support Plan

Type: In-Person

Location: Meridian Room, EarlyON - 2nd floor, Stone Road Mall, 435 Stone Rd W, Guelph

Facilitator: Kimberly Spira, Resource Consultant, County of Wellington, Children’s Early Years Division

For many early years practitioners, the thought of developing an individual support plan can be stressful, and many practitioners don’t know where to start. This two hour reflective and interactive workshop will provoke participants to consider what an ISP really is, what factors need to be considered when creating an effective ISP and how our guiding documents such as How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years and the Child Care and Early Years Act guide the development of this useful and living document. Through active learning and engagement, each participant will work with colleagues to create an ISP. Participants are encouraged to come with real scenarios to use to make their learning meaningful.

Participants will be sent an email closer to the date with the virtual event invite.
