Nurturing Healthy Teams: Communication that Connects

In childcare settings, the quality of our communication directly impacts not only our teams—but the children and families we serve. This interactive workshop helps participants recognize and bridge the gap between intention and impact, reducing misunderstandings, strengthening relationships, and fostering a culture of trust. Participants will explore a foundational communication model that supports clear, respectful, and effective dialogue—even in moments of stress or conflict.

This morning session will be presented by Marg Van Herk-Paradis

Marg is President and a Senior Consultant at Credence, specializing in supporting organizations with addressing conflict, transforming organizational cultures, and clarifying organizational missions and visions. Marg has worked across North America, facilitating, coaching, and mediating for groups and individuals. Marg works with businesses, universities, schoolboards, government funded agencies, social service organizations, not-for-profits, and faith-based organizations.

Marg brings over 25 years of experience in not-for-profit organizations, including 17 years in leadership positions.
