Care for Adults: Belonging, Connection, Conflict and Burnout

Type: In-Programme Professional Learning

Early Years Professional Resource Centre

As educators and leaders, we have high stress jobs, after all, caring for children takes tremendous amounts of focus and energy. We know that a stress response is not a sign of weakness or incompetence; we are all human and it is human nature for our nervous systems to react in times of stress. But what causes this stress reaction, and how can we respond in the moment? What can care for adults look like? How do we feel safe and cared for? This session provides a refreshing mix of learning, reflection, and hands-on experiences to leave participants relaxed and ready for whatever work (and life) throws at them!
