An Educator’s Guide to Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour in Early Childhood

An introduction to physical activity and sedentary behaviours in early childhood, and how educators can support young children’s engagement in active opportunities at childcare.

This course is provided by the Child Health and Physical Activity Laboratory in the School of Occupational Therapy at Western University.

The course was developed through the Training Early Childhood educators in physical activity (TEACH) study, which was funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
