Sensory Play for Home Child Care

This online course has been inspired by the 2024 Home Child Care conference, which took place in early June in Guelph, Ontario. This conference was facilitated by the Early Years Professional Resource Centre in collaboration with the County of Wellington Home Child Care.

In this self-paced course, Home Child Care Providers will:

• Learn more and reflected about the importance of Sensory Play
• Learn about ways of supporting sensory play in your programme
• And imagined new possibilities for sensory play in your early learning programme.

After completion of this online course, Home Child Care Providers (who didn't previously attend the Home Child Care Conference in June 2024) will receive a Sensory Play Kit to continue to support sensory play in their programmes.
